Service Summary

Provides assistance with hearing and telephone devices, advocacy, education and awareness of hearing loss issues birth to senior age. Also provides information about ADA compliance in communication barriers, prevention and intervention. Offers scheduled and unscheduled sign language interpreters. Provides interpreters for meetings, appointments and emergencies in cases of hospitalization, fire and mental health situations. Provides children's advocacy, aides and transitions from school to employment or higher education and community integration. Provides independent living skills, peer counseling, advocacy, housing, job development, consumer managed attendant services, social security benefits planning assistance, transition, outreach, information and referral. Provides education amongst the El Paso disabled community about the laws that protect them against discrimination.
