Services Summary

It is a traditional charter school with a concentrated enrollment in the Belmont neighborhood. BACS currently serves K4 (age 4), Kindergarten (age 5), and Head Start students (ages 0-3). BACS acts as the direct feeder school to Belmont Charter School (BCS). Strives to provide high quality academic and social service programs 52 weeks a year to students beginning at the age of 3. Some of our largest programs include Family Support Services- a DHS funded social work program that provides full case management to students and families; A Wellness Center a fully functioning health clinic staffed by a nurse practitioner; Head Start a program run in partnership with the Philadelphia School District that provides full day Pre-Kindergarten to students; and an Out of School Time program a year round program that provides daycare services, after school programming, and athletics to keep students engaged throughout the year.
